About Craig Rathbun
Craig Rathbun, CCIM, is co-owner and President of The
Fleisher Company. He enjoys being responsible for sales, leasing and
business development.
Mr. Rathbun has a thirty year background in commercial real estate which
focused on leasing and management of commercial real estate in Florida
and Colorado. During the past ten years Mr. Rathbun has been responsible
for the development of fifteen, and the re-development of four,
commercial properties in Colorado and in Florida, totaling more than
900,000 square feet.
Mr. Rathbun founded SouthTrend Realty, a commercial management and
brokerage firm in Melbourne, Florida, that today is managed by his son,
Adam Rathbun. He was twice voted the top office and industrial broker in
the Central Florida Region in 1997 and 1998 and has received numerous
other awards for professional achievement and community service.
Although devoting his full time attention to Colorado, Mr. Rathbun
continues to remain involved in the Florida commercial real estate
community, which he hopes will provide unique opportunities to those
clients whose interests extend beyond Colorado. He previously served as
President of Florida Commercial Brokers Network, a Florida federation of
independent commercial real estate firms. Craig also served on the board
of the Florida Association of Realtors Commercial Division for four
years and on several task force committees for the National Association
of Realtors.
Between 1980 and 1987 Mr. Rathbun was the political and legislative
director for the National Association of Realtors in Washington, D.C.
While in Washington, D.C., Craig was on the Board of Directors of the
American Institute of Mortgage Banking.
From 1978 to 1980, Craig served as a management consultant to the
Florida Bar Association and developed management curriculum for the
Florida Bar – that are still used today.
Mr. Rathbun holds the CCIM designation conferred by the CCIM Institute
as its highest recognition for commercial real estate investment
proficiency. Craig is a graduate of Miami University and did
post-graduate studies in anthropology at Florida International
University.
